MERA Networks Demonstrates Readiness for CMMI Maturity Level 3 Appraisal
MERA Networks, an Eastern Europe's leader in Telecom software R&D services, has achieved an important milestone on its way to CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification and demonstrated readiness for final (SCAMPI A) appraisal scheduled for Q2'2009.
RUSSIA, February 11, 2009 /Telecommunications PR News/ -- MERA Networks, an Eastern Europe's leader in Telecom software R&D services, has achieved an important milestone on its way to CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification and demonstrated readiness for final (SCAMPI A) appraisal scheduled for Q2'2009. MERA expects to receive CMMI Maturity Level 3 rating and works toward this with consulting companies RUSSEE Consulting and Inspirex Consulting.
In accordance with the plan, Inspirex Consulting performed preliminary (SCAMPI B) appraisal for MERA Networks Base Telecom R&D division in January 2009. SCAMPI B is a formal assessment of organizational quality management system for compliance to CMMI model requirements. Appraisal results demonstrated that MERA has achieved significant progress in implementation of CMMI practices and has a solid position to pass final appraisal in Q2'2009.
