SCOTTSDALE, AZ, March 07, 2009 /Telecommunications PR News/ -- Ikei Performance, Scottsdale's exclusive sports performance and fitness training center, ACN, and local A-list professional athletes have teamed up with FOX Sports Grill in Scottsdale to benefit three local charities; The Joyner Walker Foundation, Legends of Basketball and Save the Family. All of the net proceeds from the charity event ticket sales will be split evenly among the participating charities.
Attendees at the event at FOX Sports Grill will have the opportunity to give back to local charities while saving money on telecom services. The event, hosted by ACN and Ikei Sports Performance, is centered around Donald Trumps two hour Celebrity Apprentice show on NBC, where celebrities and athletes will be competing for charities of their choice. The show will feature the ACN Videophone, one of the telecom products that will be available at the event.
Each charity at the event will benefit when attendees sign up for telecom services like Direct TV, Dish Network, ADT Home Security, wireless providers like ATT, T-Mobile, and Sprint, as well as local and long distance service and the ACN Videophone. Each person that signs up for a telecom service at the event on March 22nd will directly benefit a local charity for as long as they have their plan. Participants may choose from one of the following charities; The Joyner Walker Foundation founded by former NFL linebacker Seth Joyner, which provides life skill programs to high school and college students, the Save the Family Foundation of Arizona which benefits children of homeless families by putting the entire family through programs designed to break the negative cycles of poverty, abuse, and homelessness, or Legends of Basketball, a non-profit organization comprised of former professional basketball players that support and participate in initiatives that focus on, but are not limited to, education, health and children's causes.
