TELES unveils environmentally friendly Green PBX
Software based PBX functionality now offered with TELES VoIPBOX products enables enterprises to benefit from a cost effective telephony solution that also helps them to reduce their carbon footprint
BERLIN, GERMANY, November 26, 2009 /Telecommunications PR News/ -- TELES, the Berlin based telecommunications equipment vendor, is now offering ASTERISK -based PBX software with its family of VoIPBOX gateways to provide enterprises with a compact, fully featured, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly solution that is easy to install and simple to use.
"With the upcoming climate change summit in Copenhagen, environmental concerns will be high on everyone's agenda. TELES customers can now contribute to reducing carbon emissions whilst benefiting from the functionality of a gateway and PBX rolled into one that consumes a lot less power and space than a legacy PBX, and delivers TELES quality and know-how," revealed TELES Product Marketing Director, Avi Ben Shlush.
Initially, the integrated PBX will be available on the VoIPBOX BRI and the VoIPBOX GSM products but will soon be incorporated in most of the VoIPBOX family of gateways offering interfaces to BRI, FXS, FXO, GSM, UMTS, and VoIP telephony. Integration into VoIPBOX GSM will also enable customers to benefit from additional cost reductions by converting expensive landline-to-mobile calls into more cost effective mobile-to-mobile calls.
