Peter F. Petronzi Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Telecommunications

Mr. Petronzi has three decades of professional experience in his industry

WESTBURY, NY, October 13, 2010 /Telecommunications PR News/ -- Peter F. Petronzi, Vice President of Carrier Relations for TelePoint International Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in telecommunications.

Noted for employing a decidedly "old school" approach to business, Peter F. Petronzi takes pride in upholding the values of honesty and integrity in his dealings through TelePoint International Corporation. A 26-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, he occupies a position of influence as vice president of carrier relations. In this capacity, he is primarily responsible for managing the company's wholesale and retail segments for more than 40 major carriers. Mr. Petronzi previously honed his vaunted sales skills at such companies as ITT, Sprint, Qwest, Cable&Wireless, and XO Communications.

Mr. Petronzi's involvement with the telecommunications industry was fortuitous. Originally a junior high school special education teacher, he could barely make ends meet and was soon advised by his brother to venture into telecom sales at double his current salary. The rest, as they say, is history. Mr. Petronzi is gratified to reflect that he has not lost his enthusiasm for the industry after almost three decades. Honored with numerous sales awards, he attributes his success and longevity to his communications skills and his refusal to sacrifice ethics or his reputation for the sake of a sale.

In addition to industry-related training, Mr. Petronzi received a master's degree in special education and elementary education from Hofstra University. He was recently declared "Professional of the Year in Telecommunications" by Cambridge Who's Who .
