With 35 years of experience in her field, Ms. Carr-Smith specializes in organization and project management. As lead network engineer, she oversees high-speed internet services, and coordinates and assigns staff duties. Ms. Carr-Smith also attends periodic educational training programs. She attributes her success to her sense of blessedness.
Ms. Carr-Smith completed college coursework after graduating from Halifax County High School in 1971. She is pursuing her certification in project management through ESI International. The recipient of an award from the African-American Women in Technology, she volunteers her free time to the Mount Zion Baptist Church. In the future, Ms. Carr-Smith hopes to continue working in the field of project management.
