Gilles R. Charron, MBA, CMC, PMP Honored for Accomplishments in Consulting
Gilles Charron recently opened business operations for Sinapse in Montreal and Ottawa
QUEBEC CITY, QC, CANADA, November 29, 2010 /Telecommunications PR News/ -- Gilles R. Charron, Vice President, Corporate Development of Sinapse, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in project management, market development, security and strategic alliances.
Mr. Charron joined Sinapse, a management and IT consulting firm, in 2008. He is responsible for overseeing corporate development, including managing strategic alliances and international consulting services, on a worldwide scale. Mr. Charron has broad experience in the government and private sectors as a manager and project manager, and in the areas of market development, alliances management, management consultancy, information technology and telecommunications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences and an MBA in Management Technology. He is a Certified Management Consultant and Professional Project Manager. His strengths are leadership, vision and business strategy.
Mr. Charron has held increasingly responsible positions in Quebec, Ottawa and Montreal for the past thirty years. He participated in major outsourcing projects with the public sector. As senior manager for Control Data, he developed a business plan for the federal government and for the telecommunications market. He managed major integration projects with the federal government such as DND, Ministry of Justice and Transport Canada. Mr. Charron managed various projects with Bell Sygma and Bell Canada in the areas of information technologies and market development. In recognition of his accomplishments, he received awards for sales performance, and was named best salesman in Canada by Bell Technical Services.
As corporate director of strategic projects for LGS-IBM, he evaluated potential acquisitions from the business perspective, negotiated and managed strategic alliances for the entire corporation. He also participated as corporate director of strategic projects for CGI in the realization of projects within the framework of the CGI's corporate strategic plan with the executive vice president and chief strategist. He attributes his success to his perseverance, good advice, and listening to customers and understanding their needs.
He recently opened business operations in Montreal and Ottawa. The next targeted markets are USA and Europe. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue to mentor others on public and private projects.
Mr. Charron gives of his time to serve as president of a local community center and well as for Scouts Canada. He previously served as president of FIQ, and the MBA Association. He is a Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity inductee.
