Samantha Crawford Specializes in Procurement for the Telecommunications Industry
LITTLE ROCK, AR, March 17, 2010 /Telecommunications PR News/ --Samantha Crawford, Associate Director of Procurement for Verizon Wireless, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in procurement management.
With 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Samantha Crawford is considered an expert in contract negotiation and the procurement of wireless devices and accessories. She began her career at Alltel Corp., moving on to Verizon when it acquired the former in 2008. Now associate director of procurement for the telecommunications giant, she is responsible for maintaining accountability for all handsets and accessory supplies, and managing inventory to support legacy Alltel territories. Ms. Crawford became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her father, who built his own career in the field. She attributes her success to the support of her mentors.
Ms. Crawford received her Master of Business Administration in 2002 from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in 1998 from Stephens College. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and names Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as her favorite charity. Ms. Crawford looks forward to continuing her professional growth at Verizon.
