As CEO and Chairman of VOiParty, as well as throughout his incredible professional career, Dr. Martinez has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 2005, VOiParty is a technology holding company with the express purpose of turning a brilliant idea into reality. Over the past four years they have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of man hours to develop the technology that has allowed them to create the world's first peer-to-peer interexchange carrier. Dr. Martinez has dedicated his life, through his work ethic and education, to find innovative ways to improve people's lives. He began his career in the banking and financial field while always remaining true to his entrepreneurial spirit. At the age of 18, he started in banking as a bookkeeper at Southeast Bank N.A. and by the age of 20, he was AVP Controller and MIS Director of a small commercial bank known as Credit Bank. Dr. Martinez also started a computer company selling IBMs and clones where he obtained the position of VP Cash Management Director. As a result of innovative electronic cash systems he created, he was hired by Chemical Bank in New York. Dr. Martinez speaks at cash management conferences throughout the nation, some sponsored by the TMA.
During his impressive collegiate career, Dr. Martinez earned a PhD and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington; Master of Laws degree at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law; an Associate of Arts degree in Business and Data Processing at Miami Dade College; Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and International Business at Florida International University; and his currently in the process of earning his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the Northwestern University School of Law.
