She completed training in Leadership Skills & Team Development for Technical Professionals through the American Management Association; Troubleshooting and Optimizing Windows NT 4.0 through Learning Tree; UNIX Fundamentals/ Intermediate, Network Protocols/Applications, C++, Xincon, and Oracle 8i PL/SQL through the AT&T School of Business and Technology; and UNIX Scripting, BEA WebLogic 8.x Administration, and the PMP Examination Prep Course through IBM eLearning. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Ms. DeVries, who possess DoD security clearance, is technically proficient in Windows OS, Citrix, UNIX, Linux, Open VMS, Sybase, Oracle, JD Edwards, Tivoli, Remedy, BEA WebLogic, Java, Rational Tools Suite, MAC OS X, SOA, MS Office, Erwin, Toad, Lotus Notes, Sametime, PL / SQL, Source Safe, Sharepoint, Websphere, and CA Watchdog. She has years of experience with hardware manufactured by Digital, Compaq, IBM, Gateway, and Dell PCs; Dell, Toshiba, and Gateway laptops; digital cameras, scanners, and HP printers and plotters; as well as network hubs and patch panels. Lastly, she is familiar with Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, and MS SQL databases.
Ms. DeVries is a member of the Project Management Institute, Inc. and Women In Technology International. In 2005, she received the President's Volunteer Service Award, and she was twice honored with customer service awards by AT&T Intellectual Property. She serves as a volunteer emergency medical technician.
